By accessing and using the services that SyllabusCentral offers, you are agreeing and signifying that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the Terms of Use in this document. SyllabusCentral reserves the right at is sole discretion and judgment to change, modify, add or delete any wording or portions of this document. It is your responsibility as a user of SyllabusCentral to stay up-to-date with the most current version of the Terms of Use. SyllabusCentral will post the date of the latest version of the Terms of Use. By accessing and using SyllabusCentral you are agreeing to be bound by the most recent version of the Terms of Use. If you do not agree to abide by the Terms of Use of SyllabusCentral, do not access or use the services that SyllabusCentral offers.

SyllabusCentral reserves the right to at its sole discretion and judgment to reject, refuse to post or remove any posting by you, or to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to all or any part of SyllabusCentral at any time, for any or no reason, with or without prior notice, and without liability.

Please read the following Terms of Use carefully as the following test contains information regarding your legal rights, remedies and obligation. These include various limitations and exclusions, and a dispute/resolution clause that outlines how disputes will be resolved.

Proprietary Rights in Site Content: Limited License
All content on and available through SyllabusCentral, including the design, graphics, images, pictures, text, information, scripts, and other files are the proprietary property of SyllabusCentral, its users and its licensors with all rights reserved. SyllabusCentral hereby grants you a limited, revocable license to reproduce and display the content on SyllabusCentral solely for your personal use in connection with accessing and using SyllabusCentral’s services.

By accessing and sharing information you represent and warrant that (i) you own the content posted by you on or through SyllabusCentral, and (ii) the posting of your content on or through SyllabusCentral does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, or any other rights of any person or enterprise. You further represent that the content you post on or through SyllabusCentral is (i) your own unique presentation, organization, and interpretation of commonly available facts and, (ii) not a verbatim transcription of material written by any university employee or representative and, (iii) otherwise free from copyright or posted with express written permission from the legal copyright owner. By using and accessing SyllabusCentral you are agreeing to pay for all royalties, fees, and any other monies owned to any person or enterprise by any reason of your content posted on or through SyllabusCentral.

SyllabusCentral does not claim ownership to any content posted on SyllabusCentral. As the legal owner of the content you post on SyllabusCentral, you will retain all ownership rights to your content and you can continue to use your content in any way that you choose. By displaying, publishing, or posting any content on or through SyllabusCentral, you grant SyllabusCentral a limited license to use, reproduce, publicly display, and distribute the content solely on and through SyllabusCentral.

SyllabusCentral contains content original to SyllabusCentral as well as content posted by users and other company licensors. Except for content posted by you, you may not modify, translate, publish, broadcast, transmit, distribute, perform, publically display, or resell any content appearing on SyllabusCentral. By accessing and using SyllabusCentral’s services you agree that monetary damages my be inadequate to compensate SyllabusCentral for any breach or prospective breach in the preceding sentence. You agree and acknowledge that SyllabusCentral shall be entitled to equitable relief for any such breach or prospective breach.

Proprietary Rights in Site Content: Limited License
By accessing and using SyllabusCentral’s services you agree you may not post, modify, distribute, reproduce, or publically display in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information that is owned by others without obtaining express written consent of the owner of such proprietary rights. SyllabusCentral will respond in a timely manner to any notices of alleged copyright infringement.

If SyllabusCentral is notified of an alleged copyright infringement, SyllabusCentral will respond by removing or disabling access to the material in question and/or by terminating the infringing user. SyllabusCentral takes copyright infringement seriously. If a user is accused of allegedly posting copyrighted material, SyllabusCentral will make a good-faith attempt to contact the poster so that they can make a counter notification.

To file a notice of copyright infringement with SyllabusCentral, please provide written documentation in the format set forth by Section 512(c)(3) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Written documentation should be in the following format.

1. Identify in sufficient detail the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed upon or other information sufficient to specify the copyrighted work in question.
2. Identify the material that you claim is infringing the copyrighted work listed in item #1. If possible, please provide the URL of the infringing material to help us locate it quickly.
3. Provide sufficient contact information to allow SyllabusCentral communication with you.
4. Provide information, if possible or known, sufficient to permit SyllabusCentral to notify the provider/poster of the allegedly infringing material.
5. Include the following statement: "I have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted materials described above as allegedly infringing is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
6. Include the following statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
7. Sign the document.
